The following real-life account talks about second-hand furniture and its sometimes hidden secrets:
A family contacted me through social media about everyone’s sleeping problems in their home. Ellen, the mother, said they were all suffering from constant broken sleep and bouts of nightmares. She said she could see and feel spirit presence in the house both day and night, making her feel uncomfortable, and she pleaded with me to fix the situation.
In those days, if the client lived locally, I would visit them to get an in-person energetic feel for the job. Being a natural body dowser, I instantly sense energetic information from my surroundings through changes in my body, both energetic, emotional and physical. Nowadays, I don’t need to visit in person unless the client requests a personal interaction. On this particular day, I really enjoyed the drive to the small country town to visit the family for the first time. Visiting this place brought back memories from my childhood as I entered the sleepy country town where I had spent time as a youngster.
The family was thrilled to see me, and we chatted all things paranormal and spiritual over a cup of tea before I looked around the small tidy home. When using body dowsing, I allow my body to be drawn to different rooms, furniture items, or cold spots and use my bodily senses to gauge the intensity and type of energy in the particular space. In this home, I was drawn to the youngest child’s bedroom; a dresser, in particular, caught my attention in more ways than one.
Ellen had felt there was something odd about the chest of drawers. It had been given to the family and was previously owned by many other families. She couldn’t quite put her finger on the problem, but she felt uncomfortable when near the dresser. Ellen noticed that her young son had great difficulty sleeping in that specific room, choosing instead to play in a heightened energetic state. Young children are naturally sensitive to subtle energy, positive or negative, and staying asleep in that room was near impossible for him.
As I approached the dresser, I felt ill in my mind and stomach; my head started spinning, and I experienced the wobbly mind feeling often mentioned in this book when dark energy is present. Ellen had been busily clearing all the soft toys off the top of the dresser so that I could take a closer look. As I watched her, I was suddenly compelled to place my left hand on the top of the dresser. As soon as I touched it, I felt energy within the dresser shift slyly. This movement is a common sign of a cloaked dark energy presence.
Next, I placed my right hand on the side of the dresser and started caressing the wood in a clockwise motion. I closed my eyes as I went into a light trance and waited to visualise the hidden energy being through my third eye chakra. Management suddenly prompted me to ask Ellen to leave the room and shut the door as she would be a prime target as a new host for the dark/ demonic presence within the dresser. Demonic energy will always look to transfer to another suitable host present in the vicinity when removed from their previous location, so I generally choose to work alone. I am used to these energies attaching to me as we negotiate or discuss transference to the Healing Space, but this case was different.
As I was caressing the dresser, I was told by Management that John, the father, needed to come into the room. Unknown to me at the time, John had experience with energy clearing, and his particular method was needed right now! I urgently yelled through the door, and he came running. John entered and shut the door again. He stood looking at me like I was slightly mad, caressing a piece of furniture, and I rolled my eyes, saying this was new for me too.
John put his hands on the other end of the dresser and shut his eyes. He was tuning into the hidden energy being while I held its attention. John reached in energetically and drew the energy being into his right arm, captive as if in an energetic prison cell. He let it move up to just below the shoulder and then suddenly let go of the dresser. John raced to the door and yelled to me to open the door but not to touch him. He moved quickly through the doorway, down the hall, focusing on rapidly getting into the backyard. As he burst through the back door, he thrust his hand onto the ground and energetically pushed the dark energy into the earth.
John looked exhausted as he came inside; he slumped into a chair in the kitchen and relaxed, breathing normally again. He told me he had not realised the intruding energy was present in the dresser until I somehow uncloaked it with the slow caressing hand movements on the wood. We could now talk freely about what we had removed, and John excitedly explained how the energy he deposited into the earth would most likely cause the grass to die in that spot. The grass dying was a sure sign the energy being had been grounded back into its earthly location.
We as human beings don’t always understand Management’s processes for energy clearing, but I have learnt over many decades to trust their guidance fully. John and I both agreed that the dresser had contained high-level demonic energy, which had been silently feeding off the family as a collective energetic battery. The family’s sleep patterns returned to normal soon after removing the lurking energy intruder.
